After a bad stressed out day I come home to my dog, he lays across my lap and my blood pressure drops 15 points or more within moments.

What a difference a friend makes.

Once you’re a senior, everyday is wonderful as long as you wake up and aren’t sick or hurting.

Both Benjamin and Jean-Luc were very good at the help-you-feel-better part of being a dog. And, surprisingly, THREE of the 11 cats we’ve had/have, were very good at it!!! Nuttin like a basso-profundo rumble of a purr to shake off the bad vibes and chase away the demons!!! That’s why pets are supposed to be so good for you.

I could have used Rover yesterday. Between weather, delays, and inconsiderate idiots – what a day – but now that is all out of the way. Today is much better.

It is a proven fact that pets lower your blood pressure. At the end of a rough day, puppy snuggles are the best. At the end of EVERY day puppy snuggles are the best!I really like all of the commenters on this comic strip. Helps to get the shoes and socks off too. When I was Red’s age, our cat always seemed to know when I needed help. The purr was so soothing!

Sometimes I feel that this comic has gone even further into Mutts syndrome than Mutts.

There is very little a furry critter’s unconditional love cannot make better at the end of a long day.

AWW..….. I know when I come home from a rough day and my “puppies” greet me it is better than a Bourbon.
