Pretty lame that this actor holds the pistol with his finger wrapped around the trigger. Very bad form. Obviously uneducated in firearms handling & setting a bad example as well. The correct form would be to keep the finger off the trigger until ready to fire. Safety first!
Ohhh, no! I disliked the comic strip version of J. Straightedge Trustworthy. But I positively loathe the musical comedy version! But I will grant that Jack the Drunkard is performing his part well enough….
As an aside, I read an interview over on that social networking site with the author of a book about the Booth family actors, father Junius Brutus Booth, a notorious drunkard yet an acclaimed actor; his son Edwin, possibly the 19th century’s greatest/most famous and successful actor and a heavy drinker in his later years; and his youngest son, John Wilkes, a wretched actor known as the assassin of Abraham Lincoln. There is much more to the story, but this is not the place for me to ramble on about it….

Isn’t he from “Duck Tracy” (The Great Piggyback Caper)?

There are so many problems with Panel 3. I think this is the first cartoon with a flasher I’ve ever seen.
