Has anyone ever heard a politician actually answer the question that was asked ? I like to look at the ways they try to look like they did when everyone knows they didn’t come even close.
Heh, it’s almost like too many people have their hands in the cookie jar to have a hope of finding out what actually happened without getting everyone in the government implicated on something-or-other!
All politicians from the beginning of time have learned the fine art of not really answering, half truths and lies of omission. I listened to Cspan on afternoon and the person answering the question took a full 15 minutes blathering on saying nothing. A simple, “I dunno” or " I don-wanna say" would have sufficed.
I haven’t seen such childish fear, hatred, and espoused violence in a long time. Well, there have been quite a few Cheeto speeches like this crap. Pol Pat, a few Vietnamese generals, some fringe religious leaders in various parts of the wkrld, and that *sshat named Adolph comes to mind. Oops, left out some… KKK, Westboro Baptist… Hmm, did I miss any more of their buddies? If so I apologize for not turning over those rocks too, or should I say turning on the lights and watchin’ ‘em scurry under the fridge? And they think they’re proud Americans for wanting to execute masses of people. Jumpin’ Jesus on a pogo stick, you call yourselves Christian!?! No wonder so many people left the faith, you homocidal maniacs.
Quite frankly, and this administration is absolutely the worst pack of liars and thieves in history (not just in the US!), Reagan said” Government IS the problem”, and Republicans (the vast majority) since have set out to prove not that it’s the problem, but the enemy of the “common man”- the one so easily conned by Bonespurs.
EVERY cabinet position filled by the person most intent on destroying that agency or department, and steal the goods, like Zinke and the ilk of resource thief chiefs. (That’s TAXPAYER RESOURCES morons!)
The likelihood that America is a Christian nation is directly proportional to the number of occurrences of the words “Jesus”, “Christ”, “God”, “Bible”, and “Christianity” in the US Constitution.
@LENA, "And as God is my witness, I swea. . . . . . ., Oh the heck with it! Get somebody else, no one lasts long in those jobs anyhow! " (The current’s administrations’ revolving door for jobs within the inner circle of “The Dump” Or the swamp whichever you like the most)
Can anyone in these comments answer questions so obfuscate that it would actually get them hired for any job; other than a cabinet position? God…I hope not!

But it is just those of the Republican persuasion in an attempt to cover up their skull duggery. And it takes a lot of BS to do that.

All that extra talk is simply a complicated way of ‘not’ saying “I don’t know.”, to someone who won’t take that for an answer.

Now it’s even easier to deceive, with God out of the equation.
Oops! My bad!
I forgot there is no God.
Not for Democrats, anyway.
Their religious zealotry is reserved for power and control over others.

Maybe a new law where not answering “Yes” or “No” to a “Yes” or “No” question is the same as lying to Congress?
