Did Alcohol help them invent the wheel? ; )

Alcohol was not invented, it was discovered when the grapes they ate sat to long and fermented.

Over 70,000 seats, over 70,000 different colors? Not impossible, but I seriously doubt it.

Alcohol is a chemical (one of several, actually); it predates the formation of the earth. Mr. Ripley probably means “alcoholic beverages”….

BION is apparently thinking in terms of the wheel and axle combo in that “alcohol came before the wheel” one.

Alcohol is has existed in the universe for eons.

Fermented fruit kind of invented itself. In fact some scientists think that our ability to metabolize ethanol was an evolutionary adaption so we could subsist on fermented vegetation.

So there was a delay before the first DUI.

Now, BION, how in the world did they do the test to prove that wasps remember faces?

Different colors help folks remember where they were sitting, too.

Maybe RBON should have worded things a little better by stating that the seat sections are not a single color…

One of the leading theories is that alcohol is one of the factors that turned our human ancestors from a hunter-gatherer society into an agricultural society. The discovery of beer (possibly fermented bread) meant they had to stay put to grow and harvest cereal grains.

Don’t mix alcohol discovery with wheel discovery.

So, alcohol is what made the wheel go round!

How could alcohol be invented since it is a naturally occuring substance. Perhaps, discovered would be more accurate.

Can you really say that alcohol was “invented”. More like it was discovered.

The Superdome does not need to have different color seats to look full because all the Saints tickets have been sold out for years and the stadium is always full.

I would have thought the first alcohol would be a type of mead, when honey fermented in rainwater.

They invented the wheel to invent police. Who gets tickets for walking while intoxicated?

Alcohol has been associated with the wheel from the beginning till the DUI… As for the wasps, the ones near me seem to remember my posterior…

Just another reason to dislike wasps!
