Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Anyone ever take their kids or grandkids to the T-Rex Cafe? It’s no longer in business probably because it scared the bejesus out of the younger kids even if their brothers thought the place was cool.
That mask is kind of like the elf on the shelf, except it is the arbiter of the picky eater association. Petey had better be on his pickiest behavior. Should be a walk in the park, or maybe that’s “diorama.”
Every booth must have some huge, iconic image or prop, celebrating the P.J. Piehole’s Theme: we are scary (for proof, look at our list of closings by the Health Department)….

11⅓ years ago, Richard posted a blog entry about this and 3 other nearby restaurants closing (not really – yay!):

Is that a death mask of old P.J. himself?

My kids loved restaurants with lots of props. Kept them entertained far better than crayons ever could.

That huge mask actually looks like Petey’s kind of person. At any rate, it’s looking at the table with an expression of disapproval.

The rest of that nose is out in the Easter island pavilion.

Went to an Italian restaurant when my daughter was in her pre-teens. She was embarrassed by the photo of the statue of David on the wall by the table.

Petey should switch seats with Alice. I’m sure she would be delighted to be closer to the mask.
jonesbeltone about 6 years ago
Alice needs to give him some crayons to distract him.

Just because Petey’s paranoid doesn’t mean the universe isn’t out to get him…

That mask most reminds me of Pat Paulsen.

Let’s hope the conspirators don’t close the restaurant while they’re having dinner…

I see the Otterloops managed to get in before P.J Pieholes was closed due to its many many health violations.
