So you can just shovel the Void out of the way? Who knew?

I’m here live in Las Vegas where we’ve been getting a bizarre mix of rain and snow. We now go to Blossom for more details.

Blossom: It’s cold! (hides under blanket)

Thank you, Blossom. It’s a dark, wet void that we unfortunately can’t just shovel out of the way. I was soaked within seconds of just stepping out from under the porch!

The Man is awesome! Look at that, he cheerfully risks his life to conquer the void! So glad he remembered his cap so that he doesn’t risk going insane!

Amazing, isn’t it Lupin! However when you and Man are older, he may not take to it with the same enthusiasm.

I’m glad the Man is dealing with the void all by himself. He’s a fearless hero!

This is Missy in her favourite new box. I bought a guitar (which I haven’t played s much as I intended), and the box has been a fabulous success. Missy used to go out on the balcony and demand pats – which was rather hard to do because of everything on the balcony and having to bend over – but now she wants the same treatment in her box. She’ll go out on the balcony and when you go to pat her she’ll rush to the box. So much simpler.

Missy’s other servant may actually comment for once.

We’re in Balmain (a suburb of Sydney Australia) where it’s really hot and there is no void.

Crocheting. Reading. I am pretty eclectic and love British TV, Star Wars, Star Trek, Agatha Christie, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Dorothy Sayers, Ann McCaffrey, and a host of old authors…And a few brand-new ones too.

I quilt, do some crochet, and make my own Christmas and greeting cards for hobbies. I don’t watch a ton of TV – faves are Capitals hockey, Big Bang Theory, Rupaul’s Drag Race, and Netflix’s reboot of One Day At a Time.

On this blue Monday, we are having a very brief break from the rain. Our local tv weather stated we would have a month’s worth of rain this week. Hope they are wrong! In the meantime, I somehow made a wrong move yesterday and strained a lower back muscle and so am shuffling around very carefully today to keep pain at a minimum and avoid further damage. But this too shall pass. Everyone, take care, love one another, and let’s enjoy this week’s comics and each other!

Happy Funday, orbsters and orbabies! I wonder how the kitten is doing. I can’t tell from Lupin’s eyebrows whether he is irritated or sad at being ignored by the man.

I have about 75 cm/2’-6" of void piled up on my deck. I managed to get enough cleared yesterday to get the door open by using the little emergency shovel from the car winter kit. Today I’ll try to make it to the far reaches of voidness, with Little Miss Adventure supervising from inside.

Meanwhile, in Georgia, we are looking at nothing but RAIN for at least the next 10 days, according to The Weather Channel (coincidentally headquartered here in the ATL). Sigh… at least it will keep the pollen count down for a while.

Lupin’s flat ears. Oops Man I think you’ve done it now. Ignoring Lupin not a good idea. Better give him an exclusive when you come in from the void.

Yes! I go to Shipshewana a few times a year. Was just there a few weeks ago. Will need a family member take me, as it’s too far to trust “Ol’ Gert”, (the car that’s in as bad a shape as her driver).

Please give me a couple of dates, preferably at least one Saturday.Remember that Shipshewana is a ghost town on Sundays. Middlebury, just a tad to the west, has a cute little cafe downtown that famous for its rhubarb custard pie. Could meet there. Near the hardware store.

Do you know the Wana Cup Cafe in Shipshewana? It would also be a nice meeting point, or do you have a preference?

Look forward to the meeting!!! Bring furbaby pics!

    Love, >^.,.^<

Hooray! The (Boise) Idaho Statesman has begun carrying BCN. They needed a replacement for another strip they dropped, and I’m so glad they chose Georgia’s strip. I’ve been reading the comics since I was 3 (am now almost 75), and in all those years my three favorite comic strips have been Pogo, Calvin and Hobbes, and Breaking Cat News, and I wouldn’t even try to rank those in order of preference. Thank you, Georgia, for your marvelous art and stories. Looking forward to receiving my copy of “Lupin Leaps In”.
