I would expect Rat to start his own outlet with his version of the truth.

It’s especially fun when you actually take courses in college that enable you to better clarify what sources are reliable and what aren’t, you try and teach it to other people… and they get angry at YOU and flatly deny the most credible sources rather than admit they were wrong.

In the words of a random caveguy in the DC Flintstone’s comic, “He says the things I wish were true!”

“You can’t handle the truth”.

I think people need things like cat videos to take their minds off the problems of the world for a little while and help them make it through the day. Ironically that’s why many people read comic strips.

Rat has a rational solution to the issue.

I am gonna go and watch some more rad video of Jackson Galaxy exorcising some “demon cat” in Beverly Hills.

Rat is a fluke of the universe, he has no right to be here, and whether he can hear it or not the universe is laughing behind his back.

To be fai, democracy sound to governmenty

It’s a good thing that we don’t live in a Democracy then.

The problem is that, in today’s democracies, people with mentalities like Rat’s actually vote.

The Entitlement Mentality has enabled subjectivity to supplant objectivity.

One side proudly invented the term “spin” and was admired by the press for it.

No, No, it’s SIMPLE…listen to FAUX Noise, and believe the TOTAL OPPOSITE, and you will be correct.

People in power are now consciously trying to make Truth cease to exist. If there is no objective truth, and no way to know what is objectively true, then those is power can claim that Truth is whatever they say it is.

If the Party says 2+2=5, then it does.

Good thing we live in a Republic.. much less complicated

I read a lot. Mostly fiction. It’s my main means of escape.

We are a Republic, a nation of rules and laws. A democracy is a a nation ruled by the simple majority which can trample the rights and voices of the minority. A Republic prevents that to a degree. America is a Republic with a democratic style. A democracy and a Republic are not the same.

What country are they discussing as this one is not a Democracy but a Republic? No single central government, but a few dozen or so states being represented.

We do not live in a democracy, we live in a Republic.

Until the Internet…the solution was to stay in bed and pull the covers up over your head!

Make voting day a Federal Holiday.

We need to have more cute cats running for governmental office. Problem solved.

Watching cats in person, on the scene, would be verrrrrrrrrrrrry dangerous for Rat. Videos = Safe. Live and in person = Dead Rat.

we are a republic, not a democracy

Usually compassionate Pig reacting on someones else’s misfortune with laughter is quite out of character.

And said “Please go away!”

Congress must also be watching cat videos – they’re equally uninformed about their own constituents.

But we don’t live in a Democracy! We live in a Representative Republic!

It’s a republic.

Our masses of uninformed or poorly informed voters go far toward explaining the current radically antagonistic state of affairs, with Left hating Right and vice versa, with no viable middle ground.

Let’s all watch more cat videos….

I never got into the whole “cat video” thing. I prefer talking puppy videos!

Train videos for me, but same principle – to escape news & politics. Railroaders are salt-of-the-Earth, hard-working people that make the infrastructure run. They work together to accomplish something, not sling mud at each other.

No one will ever see this, mwaa, ha ha ha! (if you do see this then tell me)
