Never do something right unless you want to do it again and again.

Did he get the plates right or did he stack them on top of the coffee cups? You’ll find out tomorrow morning when you make coffee and you aren’t fully awake yet.

What’s a colander? About 3.5 pounds. Oops. Sorry. Wrong joke.

When I come home and find clean dishes, pots and utensils scattered all over the counter, I know he emptied the dishwasher. I learned a long time ago not to complain – every little bit helps. (He rarely puts them away in the wrong places since the time I threatened to rearrange his toolbox.)

Kind of the same with tools….. use them as often as you like. Just put them back so we can find them the next time.

Opal is an APICS CPIM and needs to teach Earl the Japanese production control technique of everything in its place.

After nine years in this house, my WIFE still doesn’t know where dishes go, where supplies are or what spices are in which rack.

Mine is still learning. I just let him part the dishes away the look for them when I need them. On another note.. when my mom’s sister would come to visit her for a few weeks or so, mom would tell me: “I just let Marie put things where she thinks they belong. When she goes home, I put it all back where I’m used to it being.” Sweet.

Putting everything in the wrong place is the easiest way of getting out of doing it. I got out of washing dishes when I was a kid due to always breaking a cup, plate or glass. I was 12. It worked. After getting married my wife wanted me to do the dishes, somehow I started breaking dishes again. Wife gave up after 3 days, haven’t washed or put away dishes for more than 40 years

When my husband and I were both working, whoever got home first emptied the dishwasher. I don’t remember any problems with misplaced items.

If you screw it up enough, or badly enough, they won’t ask you to do it ever again! Good strategy.
