Too bad they stink at softball. Looks like it’s official — first story in a long time that focuses on the girls’ team. Is is time to track how long Gil has been missing?
In all reality , MimI asks each girl what her hidden talents are, some of the more interesting are playing handbells, making pottery , tagging buildings with graffiti , baking cookies and smoking reefer .
…only Herk the Mauler or the peacock can save this drivel…UNLESS we get out to Milford CC and check on the showers there!BTW, this is shaping up to be in the top five in the pantheon of bad stories, I can’t think of too many with this early consistent lameness…
These kids have presumably known one another for years. Why are all these talents hidden? For example, Jamila (?) has been knitting things forever, and only now does her handiwork make its debut. When people are that enthusiastic about a hobby, they talk about it, they don’t keep it a secret.
Yikes, this is so bad. How long do we have to wait to find out that unlike her teammates, Linda hates her Saturday activity, which is semi-involuntary? And then what? So what?

You can’t be too cool if you are being featured in this strip. Both teams are 1-0 though.

Uh….. is it just me (and maybe I have watched too many WWII movies) but doesn’t the marking on that hat look a familiar symbol? (think black uniforms)
