According to the local store manager the reason the shelves in all departments are empty is due to shoplifting. I suggested that Walmart just lock up the entire store. Than the shelves will have inventory for ever!
Yesterday I was standing in the check-out line at Target behind a woman buying Silly String. The register flagged the purchase – she had to prove she was over 21 (she was in her 60’s). Really? Silly String?
OR, perhaps it’s maybe so it doesn’t accidentally spray all over everything in the beach bag while you’re carrying it, possibly, and actually has nothing to do with security (other than the security of knowing that you’re not going to reach into your bag and have your towel and book covered in sunscreen, I guess).

Take Queen Elsa’s advice and Let it Go.

Probably the idea is that they are preventing people from spraying it in the store and then YOU buy it and it’s half empty.

Probably so toddlers don’t spray it in their eyes at the pool/beach while mom and dad are busy keeping an eye on the older sibs, playing in the water.

Maybe they are afraid of stupid people spraying sunscreen in their eyes, or huffing it. Not that there are any stupid people in this strip.

Everything is secure now. I need a knife and pliers to open my cottage cheese container.

Looks like Honeybunch is a mad sunscreen sprayer.

It’s actually so it doesn’t accidentally spray in transit. It would suck if you put it in your bag and it sprays all over your towels, snacks, etc.
