One summer it was my job to water the front lawn with the hose sprayer two evenings a week. So I made sure it all got covered evenly, then I sprayed my name into it. Sure enough, by mid July, you could read TOM in the grass. Mom was not amused but Dad was impressed with the planning and execution it took to make it work.

Digging all those letters in the lawn looks like a lot of work for a six year old like Calvin.
