With all the people and scientists traipsing around on the Galapagos Islands, no one has noticed this old dude? Probably hiding in with the other tortoises. Like many species of sparrows, my guess is there are subtle differences.
How did they miss a giant, slow moving animal for a CENTURY? Is it just a lone survivor older than the airplane (I know these things live a long time) or did we manage to miss a breeding population of the things?
