A meet and greet out on the street just can’t be beat. Unless Dad’s wife and son are utterly unaware of Shauna’s existence, that is. On the plus side of the ledger, Shauna rocks her hot pants and red boots. Half-brother is missing out big time, as Shauna would be a tremendous big half-sis. Any guesses as to who graces the hoodie of Shauna’s half-brother?
To be fair, it probably wasn’t a good idea to confront him in public with his new family, who in all likely-hood have not the faintest idea of her existence. Nothing puts a sour taste in the missus’ mouth like an unannounced bastard child.
But yeah, Glenn, in general you are a weak-livered weasel with a limp-handshake.
Shauna, panel one: everything is great, I’ve saved Amy’s shop, I’ve put Romesh to honest work, I am awesome.
Shauna, panel six: I am genetically predisposed to awfulness. Life sucks.
(Also, she just found out that, instead of having two half-brothers with whom she doesn’t share a father, she now has a third half-brother with whom she doesn’t share a mother. This has really been one revelatory chapter for Shauna, albeit not for things she particularly wanted or was happy to learn…)

Some nice work with expressions today, especially Glenn’s frozen horror in panel 3 and Mrs. Glenn’s skeptical look in panel 5.

Bio-dad seems to be a weak person.

It looks like Glenn’s wife sees a family resemblance between Shauna and her dad.

Not quite everything is fixed.

New little brother seems very curious about Shauna. And I guess we wait until Monday to see what transpires over coffee.

I sure hope that her half brother was looking at Shauna’s boots and not her… uh… um… shorts.

Does “gasping” have a British slang meaning I don’t quite get? Is she expressing she is pissed off, hung over , out of breath?

This panel gets to me emotionally because my own parents separated when I was too young, I just want to give Shauna a hug! SOB!

Wouldn’t it be funny if Mrs Glenn thought he had a teenage girlfriend?
