It is not whether you actually frolic or not. It is the right to frolic if you want to that matters. How, exactly, does one frolic? Are there classes? Who wrote the rules on frolic etiquette? I have never seen a ‘Frolicing for dummies’ book.
I’m waiting for the rain and clouds to quit coming so I can get my telescope out. The last clear evening here was in early April! Eventually I may give up and start going to bed 4 hours early so I can get up before sunrise when the clouds have moved on. Several members of our club have taken to that, but I still work.
Husband likes to go to a particular farmer’s market in Lancaster, PA. If it is raining not all the vendors are there and many close earlier. If we are going to drive 3-4 hours each way, he does not want to go there in the rain.
It rained Fridays in September other than when we had things we had to do here. Husband hurt his shoulder/arm at start of October so we could not go then or in November as he still could not make the drive. Early December- we had rain on Fridays – later in month we had things we had to do. Since January there has been a phenomenon that it has rained or snowed every Friday either here or in PA or in both. This is confirmed by BIL who works in PA and the weather reporter. This past Friday was the first nice Friday and we could not go as we had reenactment unit obligation to help set up for an all weekened event.

I frolic on the inside too, but I’ve never seen her there.

In my day we didn’t have a sprinkler; we frolicked in the rain.

In that case, Katy, don’t let the rain stop you!

I took a walk in the rain a few days ago, and even at my age I felt like frolicking
Rain may be my favorite weather, but then I’m fascinated by seeing water run

100% chance of thunderstorms this morning, I would hold off on the frolicking for now Katy.

Frolic in the rain. It’s more effective than pretty much any sprinkler you’re going to encounter. This time of year, it may even be warmer.

She should come here and frolic in the dust. Last had a little rain in April and not expecting more until September – October.

Put on your swimsuit and pretend the rain is a sprinkler.

It looks like good fishing weather to me, the fish don’t care, they are already wet.

Why not frolic in the rain? That’s what we used to do.

Two old songs come to mind: “Singin’ in the Rain” and “With the Wind and the Rain in Your Hair.”

How much difference is there between frolicking through a sprinkler and frolicking in rain?

I have never frolicked in my life.
