Of course itâs a plot device, but when I scooped ice cream as a summer job, I got pretty tired of it after a while. Thatâs long ago, now, and happily, I donât get tired of it any more. In the meantime, go Viral! You tell âem! Or not. Your response: ignore âem.
Cats can be trained, you just canât train them like you would with a dog. Cats can even learn tricks on their own as well. One of mine learned how to pee in the toilet.
Catâs can learn commands like dogs, but have to be taught. My three catâs know down, out, bed, and come. All three even know their names. My dogs also know similar commands, but the cats respond better. Also dogs donât know any commands or tricks unless you teach the dog.
not obeying commands isnât a sign of lack of intellect, it actually reflects poorly on us in that weâve domesticated the things for so many thousands of years and were never able to make them listen
My daughter trained her cat to sit up and tap her hand with her paw to get a treat. The cat will also lift up her front legs when you ask her if she wants âupâ. (of course she has to be in the mood to go âupâ) She also taught the cat to stop unwanted behavior with either a âNoâ or a snap. Her cat is definitely smart. Consistency is the key to training whether it is a cat, a dog, or a kid.

Speaking of learning, will you be teaching Joe some of your weight loss secrets, Clarence?

You do not have to teach a cat how to act smug. It is part of their nature.

You sure you want Joe to get gout, so he has to change all his eating habits? Thatâs why Clarence lost his weight.

Cats are almost human; they know what youâre saying, but they ignore you. Had a couple of kids with the same problem.

Joe looks like heâs been gaining weight while Clarence has been losing it. I wonder if thereâs a storyline coming about that?

If you want a dog, get a dog. If you want a cat, enjoy your cat.
