. . . or you may join the most egregious offenders (all members of Congress and occupants of the White House) at the new “Peace Internment Facility” located in Idiotville, Oregon.
“Judge not, that you may not be judged. For with whatever judgment you judge, you shall be judged; and with whatever measure you measure out, it shall be measured to you again.” Matthew VII; 1-2 (KJV). Of course, that does not extend to Democrats, people with less than six-figure incomes, women, gays, persons of color, the poor, the stranger, or anyone stupid enough to quote “Judge not. . . .” /s
I wonder how many of the commenters (and people in general) who endorse violence are veterans who truly understand violence? Someone once said that violence is the last refuge of the incompetent. He was not entirely accurate. It’s the first.
I was taught to check the context, like the whole Gospel of Matthew. Otherwise it is taking things “out of context” Example: “do unto others before they do unto you.”
See, what Christ did was make an effort to break the cycle of violent pay-back that’s the heritage of all middle-eastern societies. It took a new religion to do it because the only way people make seriously life-changing decisions is via “religious” conversion. And, I do believe it worked.
Of course, he didn’t fix greed and power-hunger… and in fact his disciples started yet another organization that gives the greedy and the power-hungry a place to feed their flaws.

What exactly is father Gus wearing? If that’s supposed to be an alb, priests don’t wear those outside of the celebration of mass.
