OMG, I’m rolling on the floor here!

Sometimes, I feel a little jealous of people who have grandparents. Both of my grandfathers and one of my grandmothers died before I was born. My mom’s mother died when I was around 20, but we didn’t get to see her very often, living in different states. I heard that my dad’s father was not a nice person, but I wish I could have at least known my dad’s mother (who I’ve heard was a wonderful, sweet person) and my mom’s father.

That’s a very nice compliment, Nelson…way to appreciate your grandpa!

Well Earl and Nelson next time invite Paul to go with you two on a hike . That’s what friends are for :-)

Somebody has to say it, “You’ve aged really well, Grampa.” Sorry, but it’s like a red flag to me.

I always strive to wake up not dead.

My parents not only out-hike me, they also out-hike my energetic 11 year old.

Old age may not be the greatest – but consider the alternative…

Never take life too seriously.

You’re not gong to get out of it alive, anyway…. 8^)

I’ve aged really good considering almost all my friends and relatives are now dead, lol!

Well dang, kid, Doc Frankenstein’s “Rejuve” elixir will have him walking again.
