The reason Sally hangs around with the flybag Doc is likely because she is an addict. Take a look at the size of the pupils in her eyes. She probably helps Doc deal drugs to feed her own habit. The drug makes her feel invincible so she has no problem putting herself in jeopardy. Anything for her next fix.
