Who would have thought from back in the ’80s that Bloom County would call for someone to be denied a platform?

Free speech means that you don’t do this kind of crap. If you don’t like what he’s saying, don’t listen. Perhaps the next President will want to deplatform you.

I don’t like Trump’s tweets. I also don’t like a lot of the anti-Trump tweeters, because they’re making it a race to the bottom. Still, in America, everyone is (supposed to be) allowed the same forum.

Looks like SOMEONE’S Twitter contact number! Now, I just gotta decide if I’m up for calling it….. the H$LL am I saying?? If anyone, ANYONE ELSE, spewed the hate and propaganda this PITA POTUS does…. would there even be any hesitation about calling for a shutdown? Let’s say there was a mirror image getting all sorts of attention for tweets exactly the same, but featuring white Christians in place of muslims, Blacks in place of whites, Latinos getting whipped up into violent frenzy, I mean, REALLY… would there be ANY hesitation??

I so miss the days when Breathed was (GASP!) clever. It appears as his artistic talent has grown, his grasp of satire and irony has diminished. He seems to have become the 21st century version of Garry Trudeau whose Doonesbury strip started off wonderfully clever but eventually drifted down into biased mean-spirited rhetoric. I guess I should be glad that Breathed is too lazy to update this site on a daily basis. I could always just delete it from my favorites, but I still hold out hope that he’ll regain his humor. Probably wishful thinking.

Jack — and all of us, truthfully — should be asking ourselves one question:

How do we know it’s really Donald J. Trump making all those tweets?

Could it not be that Trump has compromised himself to blackmail by Russia, and his Twitter account is actually held by an intelligence agency in Moscow? Perhaps even Vlad Poophead himself is doing the tweeting, and Donnie-Boy simply has to sit by impotently and play along.

The right to free speech doesn’t mean others have to listen to you, and it doesn’t protect you from the consequences of your speech.
