My 92 year old cousin passed away on the weekend. When I told my 95 year old father the news he thought for a moment then said " Luck duck, he escaped "
There was a local story about a pet cemetery that the “owner” didn’t own the land and now the pets need to be moved, that is really messed up. That is why I told my wife to burn me (cremate).
If I had my druthers, I’d give all my usable parts to living people and leave the rest out in the back yard for the birds, raccoons, and beetles to munch on. Eventually there’d be nothing left but the bones, and those could be ground up for fertilizer. Circle of life and all that. I just can’t see taking up all that land for something so utterly useless as a chemically saturated corpse.

What if the cemetery runs out of money and they sell the land like they did in the Poltergeist movie?
Bilan about 5 years ago
When the recession hits, the cemetery owner will sell the land and someone will build a strip mall on top of him.

The neighborhood is quiet but the view leaves a lot to be desired.

I found out there’s an actual “Boot Hill Cemetery” near a small mountain town about 40 miles from where I live. When I go, just bury me there.
