Fickle, thy name is woman!

Nancy’d first date was 56 years ago. She looks damn fine for a woman in her 70s. (It’s a terrible thing to put actual dates into a long running strip.)

Not my first date, but my first concert. Met Stadium – August, 1965 $5.50 – quite the deal ;)

She’s lying. He actually took her to the Viper Club in LA, and we’re sitting and chatting at night with River Phillips…..

Heck.. I was an 11 year old boy, and I fell in love with Paul. I’m pretty sure everyone did.. except maybe that Beach Boy Brian Wilson.

I wasn’t a Beatles fan until they released the Revolver and Rubber Soul albums. Those guys made some amazing music!

I fell in love with Paul watching the Beatles on The Ed Sullivan Show.

We ALL love Paul! ;))

One thing I appreciated about Paul is that he worked on the music for the video game Destiny. At least my 14 year old knows some good music now :)

George was/is my favorite.

So that was 56 years ago, and she would have been in her teens, meaning she’s at least in her 60s. Good to know.

I remember watching them on the Ed Sullivan show. It wasn’t until I heard some of their records that I ever heard any of their music. All you could hear on TV was teenage girls screaming.

Paul was very cute but George was my favorite, Maybe because he wasn’t always the center of attention.

It is worth noting that this strip ran in 1992, so the concert was 28 years earlier, putting Nancy in her mid-40s or so.

Disappointing but typical comment from the female.

Interesting factoid: Sigourney Weaver was at the Hollywood Bowl concert. She can be seen briefly in some of the news footage from the time.

Sir Paul is 78 this year.

I saw the Beatles in 1964 downtown Detroit. Still love Paul.
