Tradition in our house, and now our boys’, is to put the cookies up on a high table. The year that one of the non-dog owning grandkids came with reindeer food, we had a problem. Apparently the dogs were supposed to know that the food scattered on the ground outside was only for reindeer.

Oh Brad, you nonbeliever. Santa Paws loves cookies.

I suppose that a dog is a woman’s best friend too.

Anyone who owns a dog should know better than to leave a plate of cookies right at dog height. Although in this case, I suspect she knew exactly what she was doing!

Even if Puddles hadn’t done the deed, what would have stopped Luann (other than extreme fair play) from nibbling the cookies to win a bet like that?
