At the current rate of payroll check cashing place hits they will soon be going 3 states over as all the old places will be, hopefully, beefing up security which includes handling money behind 2 inch thick glass or in a back room altogether.

Could this be an insurance scam the employees are in on ?

While we wait for the story to develop further, how about a game of name the next character based on a pop song? I say The Who’s Pinball Wizard, Elton John version from the movie, complete with the tall platform shoes!

So, on Sunday I commented: “…Looks like this next adventure should be a blast.” Looks like Mr. Roboto agrees with me (in panel 1)…

They still hand over cash as payroll in developed countries? I thought they’d remit the pay into the employee’s bank accounts.

I’m wondering why they are still wearing their disguises and masks inside of their hideout??

That helmet must weigh a ton if it is made of real metal.

Nice stash for a day’s work! Johnson and Thug #2 can get lost until Thursday next, while the Man in the Iron Mask plays with his cash like Scrooge McDuck cavorting in his Money Bin!

Probably a false alarm, but I’ll toss this out for your consideration anyway. Could “Mr. Roboto” be a woman?
