Another lie from Payne. Trump would NEVER be personally involved with ANY conflict, nor would he ever hold a weapon. His brain spurs act up on just the thought of it.

Oh yeh, lets get into another mid-East war, they always turn out so well for the country. Well, maybe except for the TRILLIONS of dollars wasted, that could have been used on infrastructure and health care, and addressing climate change.

Oh well. Do you think Henry realizes he is mirroring going down with the bomb in “Dr. Strangelove”???

A thought has occurred to me:

Trump has repeatedly displayed an aggressive distrust of United States Intelligence agencies. WHO planned this operation, and for whose benefit?

Curious: Soleimani was assassinated because he was plotting to kill Americans and there was an ‘imminent threat’ for which NO information has been released.

Could it be that he was about to attack an American navy vessel in the Gulf of Tonkin?

    .

I mean, Trump and His Disciples would NEVER lie. Would they?

Payne thinks Trump is a big hero for taking this guy out. But even Bush and Bibi would not touch this guy even though he was an easy target. Did Payne ever wonder why? We will soon find out the wisdom of this move.

    Projection.

“Our President will start a war with Iran because he has absolutely no ability to negotiate,” Trump said in a November 2011 video on his YouTube channel.

“He’s weak, and he’s ineffective,” Trump added. “So I believe that he will attack Iran sometime prior to the election, because he thinks that’s the only way he can get elected.”

Speaking on the Sean Hannity radio program in January 2012, Trump predicted “some kind of a war” with Iran prior to that year’s election.

“I say that he starts a war in Iran before the election, which will make it very hard for the Republican to win,” Trump said. “He’ll start a war, you know, lives will be wasted for no reason.”

“I think it’s going to happen sometime prior to the election. There’ll be some kind of a war started,” added Trump. On Fox News’ On the Record in February 2012 Trump said it was “pretty sad” to say, but said Obama would go to war nonetheless.

“I’ve said before, I think Obama will go to war with Iran because I think he views it as good politically,” Trump said.

“That’s pretty sad and it’s a pretty sad thing to have to say, but I think he will absolutely go to war with Iran. I think he views that as a positive from a political standpoint, and I think he’s just waiting for the right moment.”Speaking on the Laura Ingraham Show in April 2012, Trump repeated his prediction. “I happen to think that the president is going to start a war with Iran,” said Trump. “I think it’ll be a short term popular thing to do. And I think he’s going to do that for political reasons.”

I guess the fine print differentiating a US resident and one born in the US kept the trump from seeking revenge when Jamal Ahmad Khashoggi a US resident with three US citizen children was butchered. Was that US contractor an American… resident.. born in the US? just curious about the standards trump uses

Whether taking out these two bad actors was smart depends on the future consequences, and we all know Trump has never been bright enough to understand the consequences of any of his actions and simply reacted emotionally. However, I’m not going to shed any tears over the execution of two villains that caused thousands of deaths.

It looks like while Trump took out one guy, he gave Iraq to Iran.

    https://www.npr.org/2020/01/05/793746580/iraqi-parliament-votes-to-expel-u-s-troops-from-country-in-wake-of-soleimani-str

“Iraq’s parliament, meeting for an emergency session, voted on Sunday to expel the thousands of American troops stationed in the country, the latest response to a United States drone strike that killed the influential Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani.

The vote still needs the approval of the Iraqi government, which has permitted a U.S. presence in the country to help combat the Islamic State.

Iraqi Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi told parliament that Iraq was grateful for the assistance the U.S. has provided in fighting ISIS, but he is now recommending that the 5,200 American troops stationed there permanently leave the country."

This is why you don’t go around assassinating political leaders (and host country military leaders) in other sovereign countries without their permission first. He may have “won” the action, but gave Iran a greater, welcomed, presence in Iraq, It was one of the reasons other countries, including Israel and earlier US presidents didn’t take out Soleimani. The consequences far outweighed the benefits, but Trump doesn’t think. He needed a diversion from his impeachment and reelection problem.

The sheriff and all his troops just got kicked out of Dodge by the Iraq parliament and they sent a resolution to the UN to condemn the US for violating Iraq’s sovereignty.

May it now be prudent to point out that the Drone program was greatly expanded by Obama; and that, under him, US-Iranian relations were actually becoming more positive, and this killing is yet another step backwards?

So far here’s what killing Soleimani has accomplished, so far:

    1. Iraq Parliament voted to expel American troops.

    2. Operations against ISIS have been suspended to divert troops to protecting embassies.

    3. Iran is further breaking from the JCPOA.

    4. Iranian hardliners have been strengthened, not weakened by the loss of one guy.

So are you saying if Trump and not Bush was president back in 2001 he’d have used similar actions against those in Saudi Arabia responsible for killing Americans? Oh wait, the Saudis killed an American journalist and Trumpster sided with the Saudis. GTFO with your nonsense.
