there are places on my bucket list too, but I’d like to do it with a little help from my brother’s flight attendant wife (OR if I date and marry a flight attendant as well)
I’m 56 and I’ve never left the Northern Hemisphere. My travel plans for this year still won’t get me to the Southern Hemisphere, but, lord willin’ and the creek don’t rise, 2021 is going to see me and the gf in Lima, Peru. Why Lima? It’s only an 8 hour flight and gets me far enough south to see the southern constellations that I’ve never seen before.
I just wish I could go to Grandma’s house again. Either grandma. (Ok, technically I can, because my sister lives in one of them now, but you know what I mean.)
Surprised it’s not every Applebee’s in Canada or some other country where there might be an Applebee’s. Oughta check and see if they are international.
I scratched “sail a small boat around Cape Horn” off my list when I turned seventy. Now I’m just hoping I’m fit enough to go for a long car ride when I can afford to. (Never been to the American southwest.)
For those interested, there are several large sailing yachts based in Tierra del Fuego that take tourists on two week trips around the cape. Not cheap but not overly pricey, either. They run 60 to 70 feet in length and tell you what sort of clothing to bring with you — wool, wool, more wool.
Pig has been very active in fulfilling his Bucket List. Today, he made a guest appearance in Froglandia, where he suffered verbal abuse but maintained his composure (see Frog Applause).
I have to wonder, if Pig, and Charlie Brown learned to use a pen, at the same place. It seems that neither can write, without ending up with more ink on themselves, than on the paper!

Like New Yorkers who never get around to the Statue of Liberty, Pig still hasn’t gotten to that mall!

I like how Pig manages to get ink smudges on his head and face while writing.
Pearls reference on today’s Frog Applause, if anyone is interested.

A bucket list nowadays needs to list those natural places you want to see before they die.

His granny must live in my hometown, the place where malls come to die. Even when malls were popular, they couldn’t survive my city.
