This sounds like a certain Public Official complaining about how unfairly he is treated, but any discussion of what may have led to said treatment is, well, a “false narrative” according to him.
Pitcher in the Wheat is not nearly as timeless as Shortstop in the Oats
he is SO lucky Reddit wasn’t a thing back then, he’d be a feature story on r/niceguys and r/amItheasshole
