I always remember torture. That’s what oatmeal now equates to for me.

I’d remember it, mostly because I can’t recall ever having any. If I did it was my mother’s doing.

Exactly!

Oatmeal cookies are pretty good… especially if you put in extras, like M&Ms, cranberries, or butterscotch chips.

I remember oatmeal. I remember when it used to taste like oats instead of like apple-maple-honey-raisin-cinnamon-candy-for-breakfast-who-do-you-really-think-you’re-fooling.

Yesterday my buddy told me that when growing up on the farm, his ma cooked pig brains, which tasted like oatmeal. They used everything on the pig, except for the squeal.

Even on Leap Year, the Saturday Pickles strips are reruns.

You’ll remember it when it binds you up! It reminds me of concrete.

How can you forget it?? …sticks around better than anything except coconut

Breakfast to Earl is bacon n eggs, pancakes, n syrup, Sausages……yum!

Oh, I remember my oatmeal with raisins, or lately, home made from fresh whole cranberry sauce, as well, but my tummy forgets it pretty quick!

As kids, we old diabetic American-Germans loved frosted oats. Do you want to live forever, soldier?

Me. I love oatmeal. Sometimes I mix it in with grits and raisins.
