et tu Siri?

Why wouldn’t somebody want to go to the No-News Island of Bliss?

If he went there, he would be away from Danae. Maybe that’s why they call it the island of bliss.

Siri, of course, cannot tolerate the island of no-news because “connectivity”.

Siri sounds a lot like Danae….

Siri and her ilk are probably a large part of the reason for the cruise to begin with.

Can’t wait to see how that taxi is going to get him to an island.

Why did she call him a cab. He looks like a man to me

Time to give Siri a tune up. She knows you to well. Clear her memory and let her start all over again. Perhaps turn off the snarky option this time.

“I’m calling you a cab. You’re a cab.”

Or maybe she’s just skeptical of its existence, being a purveyor of information herself.

Oh, you know Siri is actually thinking this.

I always wanted a smart-ass phone.

smart phones are bad enough, smart-aleck phones are a bridge too far

The real world is perfectly fine if you limit your news intake.

Maybe Victoria hacked his phone? After all, she (more or less) dumped Joe in the first place…….

FWIW, that cruise ship has been practicing extreme social distancing for about 3 years now. They may eventually be the only humans left.

Even one of the inventors of Siri has one but turns it off when he doesn’t want to be recorded.

We once asked Siri what she looked like, and asked her if she would go out on a date…she had some good comebacks!

Nobody likes a smart-a##se computer, even if it can talk.

Makes me wonder…If there’s ever a serious outbreak of a software virus that can be detrimental to the functioning of digital assistants, will we have to implement social digital assistance distancing?

So, they finally installed the Sarcasm Subroutine into Siri …

All kidding aside, we are lucky in our current crisis to have the phone and the internet. Not only can we keep in contact with friends and relatives all over, but we can order supplies and have them delivered, download movies, music, etc. and read our favorite cartoons [and comments] to keep ourselves entertained. Some (unfortunately not all) of us can work from home and schools are working to ensure that learning can continue as well.

The radio on Gilligan’s Island worked for the whole series thanks to the nuclear reactor the professor made from coconuts and reeds.
