Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Maximum use of available resources. Sometimes the easiest way to get what you want is to just be who you are. You need room, fart. You want to stop a conversation, belch. You want to be left alone, stink.
Somehow, I think you could drive a freight train through her room, and Fiona would continue to sleep… but then complain the next morning that she couldn’t sleep, because of a lumpy mattress!
Some of you mention the possibility Fiona cannot hear April. John should take April right up to Fiona, shake her awake, and tell Fiona they need help with the baby right NOW.
Since this is the beginning of a new week, I would like to point out that since last week when April was just a little longer than Elly’s forearm, April is now long enough to go from John’s ear to down to his waist. In other words, Lynn Johnston has given us a visual cue that a considerable period of time has passed since the story last week.

I love their realization in panel three.

Fiona must be a heavy sleeper. (Even I had a hard time falling asleep with my nephew — age almost 18 months — crying.)

Maybe this will work?

John, it will just make her sleep later tomorrow. One night of interrupted sleep won’t get rid of her.

Could be a persuasive move!

haha, that’s terrific. Just this realization hits them and we get one of the few times they were truly malicious with a target.

There’s a good side to almost everything, I guess.

Isn’t she “visiting so she can help with the baby”? Well, it’s time!

If April’s bawling does the trick, well more lung power to her!

I know that we are against child labor and child soldiers, but in this case, I gotta say: Weaponize the baby!

John’s halfway to the magic: Dr. Hamilton’s very simple Baby Hold.

Good for quiet, but would kind of defeat his immediate Fiona purpose. ;-)

That…could go either way tbh. It could make her leave the house or make her more annoying than before
