Hey, Ralph! How do you plan to eat that with your mask on?

I think it’s kinda funny when I see people driving alone in their cars wearing face masks!

It’s probably easier than a dentist understanding you with a mouth full of instruments.

He hasn’t seen what they gave him yet.

Many years ago, when the kids were young teens, we went to a drive through, I requested my order, speaking clearly, and was asked to repeat myself. I did, and was asked to repeat myself again. I intentionally garbled my reply, and they said…Ok, pull around. We all found it hilarious. The order was perfect. I figure the guy at the window was probably just bored and wanted to see if he could get the customer upset.

Why the hell are you wearing a facemask in your own car, Ralph? Think about it.

You don’t need a mask inside your car, duh!

Ditto…I just put the 2 elastic hoops together & slide my hand in the middle..like wearing a bracelet.

If you are alone in your car, why do you need the face mask?

If those mask ever become mandatory here, I won’t be able to leave my house. I can’t breathe with anything at all, even a scarf in winter, over my face. Psychological, I know, but true all the same.

With mask on, you speak their language.

I have sometimes left my mask on in the car after shopping simply because I didn’t think to take it off. When you accept it as something we just need to do now days, it stops being an annoyance. I don’t enjoy wearing it (and I know I don’t need to wear it when alone in my car) but if a wearing a mask helps, then I’ll wear one.

I don’t mind wearing a face mask where required or requested in stores or restaurants (when doing take out) or other inside (public) locations. My problem is that I don’t think I can hear as well with it on – it sure seems like that anyway, and I don’t mean just when listening to others talking while they are wearing a mask.

Why do either of you have a face mask on at that point?

Ralph will find a way. As for drive thru speak, looks like the rest of the world caught up.

The new normal….

The news reporters on our local news wear masks while talking. You can get about half of it. Fortunately, none of it ever matters, and has been the same thing for twenty years

Who is going to get you sick in the car?

I’m pretty sure the virus doesn’t travel through the speaker to the employee.
