I think B.O. was fretting about nothing because, in the end, I don’t think he told Gertie anything she didn’t already know.

That last frame of Gertie giving B.O. what for has me laughing. Those two are quite the couple.

Say, Gertie . . . as long as we’ve reached “True Confessions” time, wouldn’t it be nice for someone else in the scene to step in with a story? Don’t get your brow all wrinkled over it, just think about it a bit.

Love the Crime Stoppers panel. Someone finally called the “people” who recommended Bleach what he, err, they really are. Scammer. I’ve been appalled by this “people” for a long time, but as a retired nurse I was in absolute horror at the words coming out of this self proclaimed “non-doctor”.

Gertrude is a far better woman, than BO deserves. I knew she’d have no problem with it, but never try to pull the wool over her eyes (giggles)

I have a hard time ‘hearing’ her with the sweet voice she’s said to have. I fill in with Marjorie Main, or Irene Ryan, or June Foray as Gertie Growler.

GOOD LORD! It’s not hard to read anti-Trump messages into today’s strip. Beginning with the DON’T DRINK BLEACH Crimestoppers tip and ending with a reference to Trump’s “grab ’em by the GOOZLE” (to keep it clean like Gertie did). Never seen the Tracy strip so political. Kinda funny.

Well, as expected that sub plot didn’t last long. I really wish they would make the entire comic strip series available. The closest we got was by Blackthorne Publishing in the late 1980s which got 99 issues out before the company folded in 1990. I know they got at least as far as the 1955 Mumbles storyline but how far after that they got I don’t know.

Oh, please. Don’t start telling me that anybody would drink bleach or silver (AG). Whatever.

Relative to the comment by Maximara..The entire Gould run has been published by IDW publishing for the last 3-4 years. It is a hardbound b/w reprint with no cropping like Blackthorne did. The series has two more books to run and will end with Gould’s retirement in 1977. All are available on Amazon I believe. Not cheap, but worth it for a Tracyphile. BTW, the Covid scam hints above make more reference to charlatans like Alex Jones who hawks that garbage than it’s meant to disparage Trump.
