My brother and I had a… contentious relationship growing up. It didn’t get much better as young adults. Until I moved to Alaska and he was deployed to Afghanistan. Unless one of had become an astronaut we couldn’t have gotten further apart. That was what it took for us to admit, “Yeah, ok, kinda miss you.” We’re better now- we live on the same continent and still appreciate time we can see each other.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Of someone elsel.Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder.Abstinence makes – well, something grow.

A true sister. Can’t live with them, and can’t live with them. ;-)

Never was a truer word spoken, Lizzie. :D My brother is 6 hours away, and we talk by phone twice a year. We are both quite happy with the arrangement. :D

Michael has a smile on his face in the first panel. I guess he’s now somewhat excited for this new adventure.

I think sisters are that special breed that are most loved and admired the further away they are.

Brothers are wired to not favor their sister, or we would have a “Flowers in the Attic” situation.

I have felt that way about some people.
