There is always another bridge to cross, but none of them is a bridge too far. Keep on marching.

Do you ever feel that, despite that you keep marching, you don’t get anywhere?

People who have god on their side never lose a war; no matter how many battles they lose there’s always another generation.

It’s very sad that this march is STILL ONGOING after all these years. I personally know of marches that have been happening since Martin Luther King… and STILL there is institutional racism. STILL people of color have incomes significantly less than other people. STILL there are gangs of cops murdering people.

March on, but do more than march. VOTE. Vote for your local government: The ones who hire the cops. Vote for your state government: The ones who control how voting is done. Vote for your federal government too. And for GOD SAKE:

          VOTE THE BASTARDS OUT !!

Someday will they rename the bridge…. wait for it ….. The George Floyd Bridge ? Only then will the South start to “Rise Again” and all people are judged equal.

The way to solve the looting, rioting problem is to figure out that the rioting is NOT the problem, it is the reaction to the problem. The police have always been the community paid employees of the respectable members of society. Respectability was largely determined by how much money a person had. The son of the owner of the local factory could get away with just about anything. The girl he raped was probably asking for it. The speed limit- oh well, boys will be boys, the fight obviously was the other guy’s fault. The police have accepted their role as the newer version of the castle guard. It isn’t only Black people who have been treated like the enemy of the respectable people, it’s anyone who isn’t considered part of the upper class. There has never been justice in this country. Not that this is confined to this country, it’s worldwide. Some people have always been more equal than others.
