Wrong Kelley…. the two enemies are Rumpy and Barrf….. now commanding secret police to attack peaceful demonstrators…. BTW – Did you happen to notice that in some cities, the white protesters outnumbered the black ones? Leave it to those two to bring people together against real the common enemy….. the GOP. VOTE BLUE!
If Putin is the Enemy why did Trump confiscate the Interpreters notes from his meeting in Helsinki?Because that was Trump Surrendered to Putin. That is why Rex Tillerson a decorated “Friend of Russia” was sec of State, and even He thought Trump had gone too far.
They are smiling because their plan to utterly destroy America is working better than they expected. Their plant has infected the entire nation, and we are rotting from the inside out — or from the top down.
Wrong. Those two up there are benefiting from the stunning ineptitude of the guy currently occupying the Oval Office. Ultimately it’s the fault of the Trump voters who were so blind that they couldn’t see this was going to happen.
In theory, correct. But until you first acknowledge and then address the systemic racism that makes the gentleman on the left persistently afraid for themselves as they go about their daily business, have economic and educational opportunities denied or truncated, cartoons like this are no more helpful than wallpapering over mold in your home.
I’m afraid that the American people have many more enemies than can be listed in a mere four panels.
First there are the elected enemies, at the Federal level. Working for their patrons, or themselves.
Next are the meek and complacent civil service workers, staying quiet, protecting their jobs, waiting for retirement while Public Enemy #1 robs us blind.
Third are the contractors, robbing, stealing, gouging out great heaping chunks of our nations resources into their own pockets.
Fourth is the media, allowing these crimes to occur, supporting them, looking the other way, pointing fingers at anyone who speaks up, as if they were the criminal. I’m talking about YOU here, SKelley.
Well, those are the two who lead Trump around by his gimp suit, but there’s not a whole lot we can do about that now. Our real enemies are Trump and his enablers. If we had functional human beings who knew how to govern instead of the Cult of Trump, Xi and Putin would be a much smaller problem.
Trump wasn’t available for this cartoon. He’s either going to church to hold a Bible or possibly flying someplace for D-Day. (Which somebody said he thought meant Victory Over Democrats)
Putin and Xi Jinping, unlike the US, do not have such protests like the ones we’re seeing right now. What’s another trait that they share with themselves but not the US? Oh right, they’re both autocrats. By the way, anyone remember what happened the last time China had mass protests?
“When the students poured into Tiananmen Square, the Chinese government almost blew it. Then they were vicious, they were horrible, but they put it down with strength,” Trump replied. “That shows you the power of strength. Our country is right now perceived as weak…as being spit on by the rest of the world.”
There is a reason why the oath of office includes “defend against enemies foreign and domestic”. American culture has had ethno-nationalists and anti-government extremists undermine our democracy since the birth of the country.
Dutifully performing its role in a highly-choreographed display of political theater, Russia’s highest court approved constitutional changes that opened the way for President Vladimir V. Putin to crash through term limits and stay in power through 2036.With a dense 52-page ruling clogged with legalese, the Constitutional Court removed one of the last, albeit very flimsy potential obstacles to Mr. Putin effectively becoming president for life.A final hurdle to be crossed is a nationwide referendum on constitutional changes that is little more than a formality because of the Kremlin’s tight grip on the news media and bodies responsible for organizing the vote, not to speak of a ban on public protests.
The first time Putin and Trump met was in Germany. President Trump took his interpreter’s notes afterward and ordered him not to disclose what he heard to anyone. Later that night, at a dinner, Mr. Trump pulled up a seat next to President Vladimir V. Putin to talk without any American witnesses at all.Their third encounter was in Vietnam when Mr. Trump seemed to take Mr. Putin’s word that he had not interfered in American elections. A formal summit meeting followed in Helsinki, Finland, where the two leaders kicked out everyone but the interpreters. Most recently, they chatted in Buenos Aires after Mr. Trump said they would not meet because of Russian aggression.Mr. Trump has adamantly insisted there was “no collusion” with Russia during his 2016 presidential campaign. But each of the five times he has met with Mr. Putin since taking office, he has fueled suspicions about their relationship. The unusually secretive way he has handled these meetings has left many in his own administration guessing what happened and piqued the interest of investigators.“What’s disconcerting is the desire to hide information from your own team,” said Andrew S. Weiss, who was a Russia adviser to President Bill Clinton. “The fact that Trump didn’t want the State Department or members of the White House team to know what he was talking with Putin about suggests it was not about advancing our country’s national interest but something more problematic.”

No, the enemy is us, and the evil clown we have for president. No need to look for outside forces.

SKelley, if you actually believe that Putin is an enemy,
why do you admire YOUR GUY Trump embracing him?

Maybe you should include a self portrait in the final panel.
