Timing, it’s everything.

Anybody notice that Little Homer is a bit older? He has a slightly larger build and he has enough hair to look like he has sideburns. Maybe his pal Duncan the Woolly Mammoth will help him ‘communicate better with the men of the tribe’ by impressing the chief’s daughter?!? Because the males will just want to kill it and roast it!

At least in the frozen environment he doesn’t have to worry about tar pits.

Okay, I give up. Why couldn’t Duncan come back as a dog? Homer didn’t change species when he came back. . .because dogs hadn’t evolved yet????

It was a matter of time Duncan, it was a matter of time. If there is reincarnation, if there are planets with life on them, I’m really hoping to be reincarnated on one of them. Sure, it may not be all peachy keen there either, but hopefully it’s not a planet that keeps perpetuating the same destructive rut we can’t seem to get out of.

Naw, I think Duncan is a dog.Man is greatly indebted to our oldest dearest friend, the dog.
