It won’t work for lap cat if he’s around here. He can’t sit on the lap in Indian toilets.

LOL! My cat actually tried to do that with me once! I don’t mind him following me into the bathroom, but I don’t want him in my lap when I’m taking care of business. It’s really not comfortable on bare legs.

While I don’t have trouble in the bathroom, my one cat insists on sitting in my lap the minute I sit down. I’ve luckily been working on my balance in a Senior Yoga class, as I’ve had to learn to put on pants & socks while standing. NOT EASY!

None of my 3 cats are lap cats, 2 don’t even like being held.

I ‘m here to say that this is Not a made up thing….. a lap is a lap is a lap-

My cats won’t hang on my lap on the toilet. But the phone….tries to hang IN the toilet!

Ha ha, that is more true than you’d think.

Mine like to sit in the dropped pants .

One time when my dog was sitting on my lap my son’s cat jumped up on my chair and bumped the dog with his bottom until my little the dog left. Then he took over the lap.

I’ve had cats do that with me.

The Venerable Boris (RIP) so loved laps, that anything was a lap. At times I was hands-and-knees on the floor doing some project—well, my calves were a “lap” and always got sat on.

The struggle is real.

I had a cat once that when he was younger the only time he wanted to be a lap cat was when I was on the toilet.

Been there. Didn’t even know that the cat was there until she was there.

Scared the… , well, you know…

I had two cats who liked to hang out with me. One of them would sit on my lap while I watched television. The other would circle round and round my chair peering into things. He was a “laps cat”.

It’s a bit eerie to see it WITH censor bar, but WITHOUT IT-
