I’m with Goat… but I keep a weather eye out over my shoulder too. (Which does make it a little more likely that I’ll walk into some kind of trap that’s right ahead of me.)

I’m with Goat, there certainly has been some disappointments and inconveniences this year but so far, the recession of the 70s has been the worse economy I have seen. You would have 300 applicants for a job at Micky Ds. Now, welfare pays so well, taking that same job would not be considered. I still see job opening signs on many businesses. As far as the events that have been canceled, I just find something else to do, I have many hobbies.

Goat may be overly optimistic (or at least fatalistic). But Rat and Pig are way too pessimistic—and, besides, their hiding place is not effective against Life….
