The ironic thing is that Calvin must secretly like Susie since Hobbes is just part of his imagination.

That last panel is probably my favorite panel of C&H ever. Hobbes’ pose is classic.

OH, GOOD GRAVY!!!!! when I was growing up that phrase and “MAN A LIVING” were our substitutes for ‘naughty’ words. That way we didn’t get our mouths washed out with soap.
