In an early story arc, Susie told Hobbes “You’re a great double agent.”

She didn’t know how true this was.

Does that make Hobbes “The Spy Who Came in from the Cold” ?

Reminds me of the current prevalent management style in the public sector that rewards those who say what is wanted to be heard, and those who differ are escorted out the door.

Does Calvin even have a pencil that works? Just asking…

so Hobbes is the ‘James Bond’ of the strip – enjoying the fruits (belly rubs) while performing his duty (spying on the enemy and getting ‘valuable’ information) – well played Hobbes.

Hobbes made that up.

I love Hobbes as the alter-ego-I still think Calvin has a fabulous mind for writing and such creative things.

Wait how are there still comics if the strip already ended? Are these reruns?
