She is married to Ringo Starr. She’s best remembered for her role in “The Spy Who Loved Me” which is largely seen as the best Bond film from the Roger Moore Era and was Roger’s own favourite.
Another great thing about being a caveman was Raquel Welch in “One Million Years BC” for Hammer studios.
Go with it Dad…Ok, you have one brontosaurus and you want to get pteradactyl, how many dinosaurs would you have? Yes, I know, I know, didn’t exist at the same time, blah, blah…what counts is teaching math here, not history.
“When I grow up, I’d like to be a caveman, But I wonder if I’ll know how… I guess I’ll just keep learning things a little at a time, And I think I’ll start right now!”
Calvin could be an actor. Too many of them have proven that being an actor requires no knowledge of math, science… Hell, you don’t really even need to think to be an actor.
I thought Calvin might have said artist. I am related to several, and then only one who has managed to make a living at it is so dyslexic some one else needs to handle his finances.
I’m a caveman, there’s no money in it. People look at you funny when you chase rabbits or quail with a big stick, so around here you need money to eat. And money is math.
I was awful in math, and later in life I found out that my brain often turned numbers around. I never said that math was useless, but until I was adult, I never realized how often I would have to use math. Fortunately, I married a math genius, so I can get him to help me with that. I told him that he cannot die before I do, because then I’ll have to hire an accountant! :-)
This sounds like half the readers here. “I don’t know why anyone has to learn math, I haven’t used it since they forced me to learn it in high school!” And then they go on to become science-hating voters who reject truth as conspiracy and accept conspiracies as truth.
My grandmother asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, and I said a hobo. That didn’t sit to well with her, and she let me know it.Now I grind my bones into dust 10 hours a day in a dirty factory. Thanks grandma!

Even cavemen need to know math, especially when they sell auto insurance.

LOL! Not exactly a popular career field. You might want to check the average pay for that, Calvin!

There’s one good thing about being a caveman – Barbara Bach.

On Saturday, someone replied to Calvin’s negative comments about Math by saying that without Math we’d be cavemen. Calvin seems to agree.

My cat often reminds me that his ancestors used to eat my ancestors. So if Calvin is going to be a caveman, then that would make Hobbes….
Nice knowing ya, Calvin…

I’ll bet Calvin learns some math when he starts getting an allowance. He will starting thinking real hard about adding then.

Dad needs to find something that would sway Calvin. Some every day math he “might” need to use.
