How come Tarzan is cooking his food? IIRC, the novels make a point he prefers raw meat.

Roasting a whole deer on the spit seems a bit much, that’ll take a while? And who shoves their knife into the ground like that? Good way to break the tip.

Don’t you just hate that? You sit down for dinner and then the robo-vultures start calling.

Another wasted animal that Tarzan killed for nothing. He often leaves his meals uneaten.

Yeah, when I’m hungry, and haven’t eaten for a day or two, and just spent the past hour preparing my meal and starting a fire, I often forget all that to go check on what some vultures might be up to. Maybe he’s hoping for something better on the vulture menu.

Panel one, the deer said, maybe he’s friendly.

I’d feel better if he’d just keep his knees together in these shots.

I don’t know what indication Tarzan gets that the prey is mysterious. This could just be a routine case of vultures doing what vultures do. Anyway, is it really “prey” when it’s already dead? I think prey implies some stalking involved.

Has old T’Zan been checked for ADHD?
