Sure Vercingetorix surrendered his weapons, but he had the Gaul to do it on such a fancy horse.

After a spirited dispute Vercingetorix had to admit that Caesar had an undeniable disarming manner about him.

Is that Clovis, or Clodion the Hairy?

The painting had so many inaccuracies, they both found it galling.

It’s painful to say of the Gauls/(it distresses,dismays, and appalls)/ thatin matters of wine/ and cheese, they do fine/ but they’re somewhat deficient in balls…

Turns out that Caesar was able to win because he undermined the unity of the Gauls by inciting infraction between the tribes. And here I thought that Drumpf didn’t read history.
