Being new to my state, someone asked me if I knew where Circleville is. I told them no, not yet, but I’m sure I will get around to it. (Well, I thought I was clever, anyway.)
FYI: Magellan, who is credited to be the first to circumnavigate the Earth did it by making two different trips. His first trip was easterly to the East Indies. His second trip was westerly where he died not far from his furthest easterly trip. The first to do it one direction were the 17 or 18 survivors of Magellan’s last voyage who bad mouthed Magellan and were later refuted by the logs kept one the survivors.

Not wholly unlike circumcision…

Circumventing the globe is another way of getting around it.

If you go around in a circle, yes. If you go straight across, you will fall off the edge. (No, I’m not a flat earther.)

Sounds like rocket science.

This sort of like when you go to a baseball game. It’s an outing and an inning at the same time.

I just read that a true circumnavigation doesn’t occur unless the path crosses two antipodes. I wonder how many voyages have actually done that?

I wonder how those Flat Earth fools explain this fact.

I’ll give him a lot of latitude on that one.
