This seems an unlikely scenario but it is a real situation in far, far to many homes worldwide.

Just do what you normally do, kid. Get a pal to sign it. Nothing new about that. It’s typical but useless.

One year, late in May, a parent asked me when we were going to start mailing report cards to parents. She was shocked when I told her that she should already have received 5. I was internally shocked at hearing she had not even thought to ask earlier on but I said nothing. Then I also had to tell her that junior’s final grades would add up to a very disappointing total. Gotta say, the look on her face turned from shocked to chilling. Kinda – but not really – felt sorry for junior for a moment.

My brother’s stepson Kyle, wrote his own excuse, and signed it Kyle’s Mom.

Today’s society.

A sad commentary on the modern family.

First Hollywood kid, “whose your father?” second…“Tony Curtis” … first, “Oh you’ll like him…we had him last year.”

That’s one busy household.

Reminds me of requests to provide my address for employment paperwork last summer. A rental contract ended 2 weeks before I was to relocate for 3 months of training. I had trouble arranging Airbnbs for the entire time period, so I moved to 1 Airbnb close to the old home for 1 week, another close to the training for 1 week, and then to a different Airbnb for the training. To simplify the mail situation, I had it forwarded to an ex’s home, even though I had never lived there. So what answer I gave would depend on why the information was needed – where I get mail? most recent address associated with my name? address still associated with my name? address at which I am presently sleeping? address at which I will be sleeping once the training starts?

One of your current parents, and get it notarized.

Let them form a committee.
