I don’t even try. If the only places to park downtown involve parallel parking, I just go home.

Guess I’m a Plugger. Not usually as bad as 5 feet, but the sentiment is there…

Anyone remember “curb feelers”?

As pictured, that ain’t parallel parkin’.. it’s “nose-in” style. (aggravatin’ when someone parks his Big-Butt Jacked-Up F-350 next to me so I can’t see what’s gonna crash into me when I attempt to back out !!) ♥

I hate trying to parallel park my van, it’s 18’6" long and most parking spots are only 20’.

You are a plugger if you remember drivers ed and how to do it properly.

Nope, sorry, this is just so wrong. ;-) As someone else said, the depiction used here doesn’t seem to fit the description. Plus, I take exception to this portrayal…I take pride in my ability to parallel park.

The only times I parallel parked Were when I was taking the driving tests yes tests as in plural, Not so proud to say I had to take that test several times guess I am not a natural when it comes to driving

Well the Plugger parallel parking here has really blown it by more than 5 feet. He’s not even parallel parked at all. From where I come from that’d be know as diagonal parking!

Pluggers take pride in their parking skills. They had to parallel park to get their license.

Having learned from dad and drivers ed back in the 70’s, I enjoy surprising my much younger coworkers when I parallel park my school bus in one shot. Mirrors and spacial judgement, and with bifocals!

‘good enough’ appears to be the motto in these parts – most folks don’t seem to understand what those thick yellow lines all over the supermarket parking lot mean, judging from all the cars parked diagonally, occupying two spaces…

In some states the required minimum distance is six inches and less.

Real pluggers are good at parallel parking. Millenials on the other hand …

From reading the comments since I posted 24 hours ago, it sure looks like Messrs. McKee and Wright are dead wrong on this one.
