And every morning you wake to, “Update available, install now?” for your OS, which will be incompatible with the software currently in your head… Dating sites will ask, if you’re Windows, Apple, or Unix.
The problem I see with that idea is that these days the crap on the Internet far outweighs the real knowledge. Brewster is clearly unable to tell the difference.
Considering that the internet is 95 percent misinformation, whack-job conspiracy theories, and cat videos, “unlimited knowledge” wouldn’t be a term I would use. The remaining 5% is GoComics btw.

Just wait for someone to hack your internet connected brain and see how that goes.

Before the internet came along and gave people access to unparalled levels of knowledge, it was easy to be ignorant.
Now, you really have to work at staying ignorant, and boy do people do that.

I was part of a study into neural chip implants, but unfortunately I was in the placebo group so I have a potato chip implanted in my brain instead.

For most people in the present-day USA, there’s nothing worth knowing if they don’t already know it.

The new “Outer Limits” had an episode on this idea where everyone in the world except for one person had the implant. Guess what happens?
