See, I told ya, the colorist from go comics is obsessed with brown (and shade of).
Attitude Plenty, why do I have a feeling, Tracy will have to deal with him years down the rode.
Officer Jim Doherty, great job as always on the Crimestoppers. Having been “pepper” sprayed to be certified in the Academy, I can say it’s horrible! Messed me up for days! Granted it was stronger than the store bought, but a friend in high school sprayed himself with the store bought kind, It didn’t look like fun either.
Chikuku, Junior’s parents were Mary Steele and her husband, Blind Hank Steele. This was revealed in the 1930s, probably way before your time. Mary kept in the background for several years, content to watch Tracy raise the kid.
scuttlebutt, from everything I could find, it’s legal in all states with some restrictions. Here’s a links about it.

I checked on the net and couldn’t find a state where it’s illegal. With case law changing all the time, I’m Not saying it’s not somewhere, but I couldn’t find it.
Actually Joe did some ARCHIE work this past year, not sure if it has ran or not yet. It was planned for online but was put into a digest. It was a spoof of TRON best as I can remember.
Yeah, pepper spray isn’t much fun. I got sprayed in the face once by a fleeing felon. Oddly enough, I used a method I got from the PRUNEFACE adventure to treat myself afterwards.
great idea on getting Betty and veronica involved, they were always 4 of my favorites. Jr. predates ol’ Starch by 10-15 years, Starch much more well groomed also.
For some reason I was thinking of Junior, Dick, Sparkle, and Tess, taking the kids to a Burger King. All the kids order the kids meal and get the cardboard crowns. They want the grown-ups to wear them too. Junior just looks and says, “I’m NOT wearing THAT!” Dick may already have his on….(grin) It would really be great if Sparkle had her hair in a pony tail and Tess had hers down. Maybe it would be even better if instead of Tess they were with Lizz. (sigh)
What sort of cocaine is in those bags? There are different types and they have different properties. Wikipedia says that one kind boils off at 208 degrees F. Gertie could get blasted when she opens the overn door. More importantly, does the cocaine resemble any kind of flour?
CHIKUKU We do know Junior’s biological parents. His father was Steve the Tramp and his mother Mary Steel. All found in volume 1 of the Complete Dick Tracy series 1931-1933.

Sounds like one of those 17th century Puritan ‘founding fathers’ we had here in New England (and survived despite them).

Junior, “working with” Steve the Tramp, first made his appearance on Sept. 8, 1932. He was nine years old.

Perhaps they where former cartoonists who used to work for Archie Comics like those other two guys who work there before they did Annie (2000-2010).

Joe Staton has done a lot of things in his comics career - including Superman Bugs Bunny (look it up) - but Archie is not one of them.

Now that’s a possibility VistaBill.
While I agree Junior looks the way Junior should. Joe Staton did work on Archie. Here’s an article,

and a Video.

Thanks, RIGHTWINGMORON, for your comments about Junior, Archie and Andy Hardy.
I always thought the similarities between Archie and Andy were obvious (I wonder if anyone sued…?).
And again - big kudos to SHANE FISHER’s colors! Great work.
And FLIGHT SUIT - I’ve heard baking soda and superglue can be used to fill cracks.

Look at teeny looking. long haired JUNIOR today. Can this kid be the FATHER of Honeymoon and Sparkle Jr ?
Yes, happily characters age slowly in thje comic strips, Honeymoon has been around since Gould was doing the strip.
Do we need some ‘modification’ here ?

Far as I can tell from the Crimestoppers Textbook this week, pepper spray only disables attackers if sprayed by a woman. Wonder why this is…?

smuggling (what I assume is) cocaine in bags of flour. That is either incredibly brilliant or completely insane
