I had a pet land snail for years when I was a kid. I released him (back where I found him) after he (?) laid an egg cluster——and they hatched.

I hate to tell you Spud, but I read the average lifespan of an aquarium snail is 1-2 years, so you won’t get to celebrate a lot of birthdays.

That’s why they’d need to invite you, Amelia—so you can take the whole party up another level.

I don’t know why, out of the blue it occurred to me, but does the seagull have a name and when did it attach itself to Wallace?
