Sage advice.
Oups… or suddenly be typed! (Grin!)
I’ve learned that over the years. (I have a poor filter.)
Please engage brain before putting mouth in gear.
And just what have you had in your mouth, Aunty?
Words to live by.
But if you swallow it, it might just pop out later and create a stink, Aunty!
Open mouth, insert foot.
I am very glad and very much still alive because people cannot read my mind.
E-H-H-H. . .it depends.
Aunty, you have a Rice Krispies mouth: Snap, Crackle, Pop!
Aunty? THIMK
Has anyone ever said to themself, “don’t say it. Don’t say it. Don’t say it.” And then you get pushed to the point of “screw it” and then “say it”??
I’ve reached an age where my brain has gone from “you probably shouldn’t say that,” to “what the hell, let’s see what happens.”
Some of my best material gets left on the cutting room floor of my mind.
I am guilty of blurting too … and have been known to blush over my own words, LOL!
Caution: Be sure to put Brain In Gear before putting Mouth in Motion.
If you apologize, it’s just being aggressive-passive.
