After missing out on Halloween candy while waiting for the Great Pumpkin with Linus, I guess she’s decided she doesn’t want to miss out on Christmas presents too!

“Forget it, Chuck. She’s rolling.”

Just give her a box that is empty except for a piece of paper that says “commitment”. And see if she gets the idea of Empty Commitments — " I don’t want any presents this year".

Nice to LOL at this one again. The ends of Sally’s rants always crack me up. I used to have one of the strips in my office where she’s hysterical about school starting. I think it ended with “Panic in the streets!” And Charlie Brown there in the last frame, same expression, repeating it.

Or it may be that she is thinking of the starvation time as related in the Bibel which Linus likes to quote at times….
